The weekend was spent at the North of the North Lake. Saturday's wind was SE and the course was set to stay out of the way of the RWYC who were holding an open event for Flying Fifteens. The forecast put a few people off and the wind at noon on Saturday cowed a few more. Flying Fifteen sailors seem to be made of hardier stuff - there were 21 of them to our 4 cruisers.
Sunday's weather was better, with the wind WSW. We stayed in the far North to avoid Claife. Mark 5 was missing so we started off the Low Wood's canon jetty which is a first as far as I know. The photo above is of the four competitors on Sunday just before the start of the first race.
