2022 Results: Inter-Club Regatta #2 (LDBC)
Congratulations to Owasippe and Seventh Heaven
This was day two of an experimental Inter-Club format. On day one we held the Mid-Summer Cup long race. LDBC organised a Treasure Hunt and Social Sail to try to involve those who didn't want to race, and also organised live music and free food in their clubhouse in the evening.
The treasure-hunt was cancelled as nobody registered any interest. The evening social in LDBC's clubhouse was lively and fun. Thans to LDBC for making such an effort.
Owasippe flew LDBC's burgee in the racing on both days, and placed second and first in today's two regatta races. This was mirrored by Seventh Heaven who placed first and second, so each boat shared 1st position with 3 points each. Jailbreak was first on the water for both races, and was just 5 seconds off scoring 2nd in race one.
This leaves the overall Inter-Club competition wide open as a second discard should apply if we maage four races on RWYC's weekend on Sat 13th & Sun 14th August.
