Winter Series Results: IRC Day 6

After a fifty minute delay, three Races in the South Lake.
As the day began Lake Windermere resembled Lake Placid. A line of wind moved slowly North and we began racing in a remarkably steady 4kt due S. This then built so that we ended the day in 9kt of wind, after managing three races.

A good turnout on a fine day gave close racing with occasionally challenging conditions for short handed crews. Pura Vida looked ahead on the water but corrected times show a different picture with Seventh Heaven taking Race 2 and the fleet close together for both races. Nevertheless, Pura Vida held on to pip Seventh Heaven to this year's September Cup.
