2024: InterClub Series Raceday 1
Three clubs, ten boats, two races
A good turnout for the first of three InterClub Series Racedays saw Jailbreak and Owassippe tie for 1st place.
The wind was a lot more Easterly and not as strong as forecast but we were able to get two races in before the wind died and a planned third was abandoned.
As you'll see in the results below the racing was very close, with the first four places in the 1st race separated by less than 50 seconds (corrected time). Owassippe was just 5 seconds behind Jailbreak and first place in race 1, and 9 seconds behind Alchemy for first place in race 2.
Then a well-attended social organised by our Social Sec, Jules, in LDBC's lovely club house. Thanks to all involved.
The next Interclub raceday is Sat 6th July when RWYC will take their turn to be Race Officer.
